Buy it once. It’s your phone, not a subscription.
At launch, every feature is free for 14 days the moment you pair — no card, no account. After that the free Companion tier stays yours forever, or you buy the whole phone once. One purchase covers your Mac and your Android. Both lists below are the v1.0 line-up.
Pier Companion — $0
Free forever. Never nagged, never capped, never expires.
- Pairing + menu-bar presence — battery, signal, now-playing
- Notification mirror on your Mac, with inline reply
- Clipboard sync — Mac to phone automatically, phone to Mac on demand
- Send a file to your phone (drop it on the menu-bar icon) — free up to 4 MB per file
- Caller-ID toasts — see who’s calling, free forever
Pier Pro — $29.99 $39.99
One payment. 3 Macs + 2 Android phones. Two years of updates included, extend anytime for $19.99. Never a renewal countdown.
- Everything in Companion
- Messages — reply to texts with full thread history
- Calls — answer, decline, decline-with-text, place calls
- Files — your phone mounted as a drive in Finder, over your own Wi-Fi
- File send with no size cap (free tier stops at 4 MB)
The direct-licence model, in plain terms
When you buy Pier Pro you get a licence key by email — a single line of text. You paste it into Pier’s menu-bar icon and press Activate. The key is checked on your Mac against a public key baked into the app, so it works with the Wi-Fi off and keeps working even if this website disappears. There is no account and no licence server to phone home to — because there is no Pier server at all. The same purchase licenses both halves: the Mac app unlocks Pro, and the Android companion is free either way.
Because keys are verified offline they cannot be switched off remotely. We trust you to honour the terms — up to 3 Macs and 2 Android phones per key — and that trust is the deal, and Pier connects to one phone at a time — that is by design. Full activation, refund and licence detail live on the buy page.
Refunds
30 days, no questions. Email support@getpier.app with your order number and we refund in full. If Pier can’t hold a stable link on your phone, we’d rather refund you than argue — and then go fix the reliability bug behind it.
How it compares
AirDroid charges $29.99 a year. Pier is $29.99 once. The only thing Apple’s version costs is a new iPhone.
